    Any reference material from Full Metal Alchemist? (Or is all Alchemy Folk Lore so closely established that it all looks the same?)

    I think Full Metal Alchemist's design was taken from actual alchemic designwork (I love it when animated show designers do their research. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside).
